Adelaide star Daniel Talia’s day is over, after suffering a hamstring in the opening minutes of the Crows’ clash with the Suns at Metricon Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 25-year-old sustained the injury with his very first kick of the game.

Talia received treatment in the rooms for several minutes, but it was futile, with the defender returning to the bench with ice on his hamstring.

The injury to the Crows’ key man does not look as though it will hamper the side, with Adelaide taking a 34-point lead into the quarter-time break.
