Collingwood star Jordan De Goey faces an extended stint on the sidelines with a finger injury, reports 7News' Mark Stevens.
Stevens reports that De Goey suffered a "significant finger injury" in last night's win over Geelong which will likely require surgery.
If there is ligament damage, the gun forward could face up two months on the sidelines in a major blow for the Magpies.
De Goey was sensational in his return from a one-match absence last night, booting a game-high five goals in a best-on-ground performance.
Degoey finished game strapped up. If ligament damage can be up to 8 weeks. Massive blow, finger injury. @7AFL @7NewsMelbourne
