Collingwood will unveil their first debut of 2023, with forward Harvey Harrison named to play against the Eagles on Saturday.

Harrison joined the Magpies as the 52nd selection in the 2021 National Draft out of Golden Grove, South Australia following an impressive draft campaign with North Adelaide.

The 19-year-old has been listed as an emergency for the Magpies in recent weeks and will now become the club's first debutant of the year when he takes on West Coast in Round 12.

Collingwood confirmed Harrison's inclusion on Wednesday afternoon as the club prepares to make several changes from last Sunday's win over North Melbourne.

Veteran Steele Sidebottom (knee) and forward Jamie Elliott (shoulder) will both miss this week's clash through injury.

Collingwood will name their Round 12 squad at 6:20pm (AEST) on Thursday night, with their tactical sub to be confirmed one hour prior to Saturday's opening bounce at Optus Stadium, scheduled for 4:35pm.
