Collingwood AFLW coach Sam Wright's last game in charge will be the club's Round 12 clash against Essendon at Windy Hill.
Wright has been leading the Pies for the past three seasons.
“It has been a privilege to serve the AFLW program at Collingwood," Wright said.
“I will always look back on my time at the Pies with gratitude, and I want to thank every player, coach, staff member and supporter I've shared this journey with.
“While these decisions are never easy, I know it is the right one for my family and the football program as we move forward.
“I look forward to coaching the group this Sunday, and I wish them all the very best for the future – I leave knowing Collingwood is committed to driving its AFLW program forward.”
The decision comes at a point of crisis at Collingwood, with reports indicating AFLW footy boss Laura Kane had to intervene in recent weeks.
Kane is understood to have discussed how Pies AFLW players were being promoted off the field and the process within the football department.
Multiple players are looking at ways of departing the club, following Collingwood icon Ruby Schleicher, who will return to Western Australia.
Schleicher was a foundation Pie, playing 82 games since she was drafted in 2016 with Pick 137. She is set to join West Coast.
Collingwood has won once in 11 games this season.
Ironically, Wright will depart the AFLW senior coaching role against the Bombers' Natalie Wood, who was sacked by the club and will finish this weekend against the Pies.
Essendon and Collingwood will join St Kilda as clubs on the hunt for a new senior coach.
The Saints parted ways with Nick Dal Santo earlier this month.
