14 more young players have had their AFL dreams realised, joining their respective clubs as category B rookies after being overlooked on the dual nights of the 2022 AFL National Draft.

Clubs are able to list players as category B rookies under league rules if they are not drafted in the national draft and are tied to the northern Academy or a Next Generation Academy.

Essendon talent Anthony Munkara will make his way to the Bombers after list boss Adrian Dodoro confirmed his signing last night.

"Anthony Munkara will be coming on board as a category B rookie," Dodoro confirmed.

"That's another great story for us. He's a hugely talented kid from the Tiwi Islands, part of our NGA and we're looking forward to getting him down."

Munkara is set to reunite with mentor Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti at the club. Meanwhile, the 2022 premiers have listed father-son selection Osca Riccardi.

Riccardi's father, Peter, played 288 games for Geelong from 1992-2006.
