Geelong coach Chris Scott has provided an update on wounded trio Luke Dahlhaus, Gary Rohan and Tim Kelly.

The Cats went down by 11 points to Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night as three of their most important players are now under an injury cloud.

Dahlhaus suffered a shin injury, Kelly copped a bit hit late in the fourth quarter and Rohan went down with concussion in the third term and missed the rest of the game.

However, Scott was hopeful that all three would get up for next week's clash against Adelaide.

"Rohan couldn't come back on with a bit of a head knock … Tim Kelly looked like he was really sore, but it turns out he's just winded I think, so not great in the moment but OK for next week," he told reporters post-match.

Scott also said that forward Esava Ratugolea would be available to return from a hamstring injury against the Crows.

It marked the Cats' seventh-straight loss coming off the bye.

The ladder leaders will look to bounce back when they host Adelaide next Friday night at GMHBA Stadium.
