Many experts are predicting this year's Brownlow Medal to be a two horse race between Geelong's Patrick Dangerfield and Richmond's Dustin Martin.

Both have enjoyed stellar season, but which player is most likely to be leading the pack at this stage of the season and of the rest, which player is on top of your club's leaderboard?

Speaking on Champion Data and the Herald Sun's new podcast, The Drill, Champion Data AFL analyst Daniel Hoyne has revealed that according to their formulas, Cats' star Patrick Dangerfield currently sits atop of the leaderboard after Round 17 with a whopping 26 votes.

Dustin Martin, as expected is second, with Melbourne young gun, Clayton Oliver in third place.
