Gaelic star Oisin Mullin is reportedly set to join Geelong as a Category B Rookie for the 2022 season.

Named Young Footballer of the Year last season following an impressive campaign with Gaelic club Mayo, Mullin will join a rich line of Irish names at Kardinia Park.

The Cats are currently home to 200+ gamer Zach Tuohy and defender Mark O'Connor, while having also listed Stefan Okunbor on their list this year.

While Okunbor has since departed Geelong, The 42 reports Mullin will head down under in representing the blue and white hoops.

While claiming the GAA's prestigious award as a rising star of the competition, Mullin was also nominated as an All-Star in the midfield.

Mullin will join recent Hawks recruit Fionn O'Hara in venturing to Australia this off-season, with the latter having signed a two-year deal at Hawthorn.

According to The 42, Fremantle signing Ultan Kelm will delay his move to the Dockers until 2022 following a hip injury setback.
