Carlton great Brendan Fevola will pull on the boots this weekend for Southern Football League club the Port Melbourne Colts.

Fevola will bring a wealth of football experience from both the AFL and local league level, having collected seven leading goalkicker awards with the Blues, along with three All-Australian selections and two Coleman Medals.

The 41-year-old has featured prominently across Victoria since concluding his AFL career in 2011 after one season with Brisbane, starring in stints with Yarrawonga, Deer Park, Hastings and Melton South, to name a few.

Fevola has also plied his trade in one-off stints in local footy, including an 18-goal haul for Tasmanian club New Norfolk, where he drew a record crowd.

The 'Fevolution' will be hoping to do the same on Saturday when he lines up for Port Melbourne at JL Murphy reserve against Dingley.

"Welcome to the Port Melbourne Colts, Brendan Fevola," the club posted to their social channels on Thursday.

"Fev will debut for the Colts this Saturday at home against Dingley at our ladies day."

Fevola played 204 AFL matches across a 12-year career in the top flight, booting 623 goals.

The Dandenong Stingrays product made his debut for Carlton in 1999 and would win seven straight leading goalkicker awards from 2003 to 2009.

Fevola won the Coleman Medal and All-Australian selections in 2006 and 2009, along with an additional All-Australian nod in 2008.

The Colts, who currently sit eighth on the SFNL Division 1 ladder after the opening 10 rounds with a 3-7 record, will face fifth-placed Dingley Dingoes at 2:00pm on Saturday.
