Bill Brownles has spoken publicly for the first time since his much publicised falling out with long time friend Garry Lyon.
The former Geelong star said he has greatly appreciated all of the support he has received in what has been "a big couple of weeks".
“You’d like to thank everyone out there, because they keep you going. You get text messages, you get phone calls, and all sorts of things. The support has been very good," Brownless told Channel 9 on Sunday night.
“That’ll be an interesting show first up," he added, referring to Thursday night's Footy Show.
“We’ve got a bit to discuss there, so we’ll get through that. It’s been a big couple of weeks, to be honest.”
Brownless will address the issue further on the first episode of The Footy Show for 2016 this Thursday night.
