Former Hawthorn and Gold Coast player Campbell Brown has hit out at Gary Ablett for failing to appear at the club’s first day of pre-season training.

Ablett was granted extra leave from the club for his honeymoon, missing the opening day of pre-season training with his teammates.

It came after revelations Ablett had requested a trade back to Geelong during the recent trade period.

Brown, a former teammate of Ablett’s at the Suns, was not impressed by his no show at training.

Former Port Adelaide star Kane Cornes got in on the discussion, disagreeing with Brown, however, he would not back down.
