Brisbane defender Keidean Coleman would love to join Collingwood in the off-season as he weighs up his future away from the Lions.
Coleman has faced a tumultuous three-year period of serious injuries and lengthy stints on the sidelines.
He famously played the game of his life in the 2023 decider, ironically against the Pies, but was not part of any of the three consecutive winning deciders since.
According to Triple M, Coleman desires to wear the black and white next year.
Brisbane said they aren't willing to explore a trade for Coleman, who is contracted until 2027, unless it was something "extremely compelling".

"Our first preference is for Kiddy to be retained by the Lions. He has had a frustrating three years, no doubt," Lions list manager Dom Ambrogio said on Monday's opening day of the AFL trade period.
"And it's not something we are looking to initiate. It would need to be something extremely compelling in favour of the Brisbane Lions for us to consider it.
"He's contracted. He's got elite qualities.
"We would rather have picks for this year because next year is going to be a different draft."
The Pies have stated it may be difficult to land Richmond's Jayden Short, given the two clubs aren't close to agreeing on his trade value.
Coleman would be in the same boat, and would be worth more given his longevity left in the game.
Collingwood currently holds Pick 9, and list boss Justin Leppitsch said they have no interest in trading that selection.
The Lions will need to consider the future of Kai Lohmann, who is also out of contract next year, and the likelihood of most AFL clubs pushing for his signature.
Lohmann would demand a major pay increase, while Brisbane also locked away Zac Bailey and Logan Morris on new deals in the past month.
Darcy Wilmot, Jaspa Fletcher and Dayne Zorko occupy the half-back roles, although the latter is tipped to finish after 2027 following an extraordinary career.
