North Melbourne have delisted six players, with Billy Hartung, Tom Jeffries, Oscar Junker, Gordon Narrier, Daniel Nielson, and Josh Williams all informed their contracts would not be renewed for the 2019 season.
“It’s the worst part of our job, by far,” North Melbourne's GM of football Cameron Joyce told North Media.
“Our focus though is on supporting the boys as best we can as they transition to another club or in some cases, look to go in another direction completely in terms of their careers.
“For all these boys, they’ve given their all to the North Melbourne Football Club and we must duly acknowledge their contributions and efforts.”
Hartung played the first 13 matches of the season for the Roos this year, before suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.
