The AFL has officially changed the venue for the opening match of the inaugural AFL Women's competition.
The game between Collingwood and Carlton, which was originally due to be played at Olympic Park Oval, has been moved to Ikon Park, due to "expected attendance".
"The AFL wishes to advise the opening match of the inaugural NAB AFL Women's competition will now be played at Ikon Park,"the league said in a statement.
"Originally fixtured at Olympic Park, the decision to relocate the February 3 Carlton v Collingwood match was made due to expected attendance."
Olympic Park has a capacity of around 5,000, while Ikon Park can hold as many as 22,000 fans.
