Western Bulldogs defender Dale Morris has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during training on Friday morning.

Scans revealed the 36-year-old suffered the ACL injury after hyperextending his left knee, with the club now to consider all of the rehabilitation options over the coming days.

Morris suffered a partial ACL tear at the start of the 2018 season, and returned to play his first game in Round 11.
