Western Bulldogs pair Roarke Smith and Kieran Collins were involved in a car accident on Friday morning, according to coach Luke Beverdige.

Smith has now been ruled out for Sunday’s game, despite being named to play.

Beveridge addressed the accident at his press conference on Friday morning.

Roarke Smith and Kieran Collins were involved in a car accident,” Beveridge said.

“They are both fine, but Roarke won’t play.

“Just turning, the car turning the other way collected them. The early news is they are ok, Roarke has a cut on his head.

“Roarke has been playing some promising footy and we think he has a bright future so it’s a shame this has happened.
