AFL journalist Damian Barrett has reported on Trade Radio this morning, that former Brisbane captain Dayne Beams wants to return to Victoria during the upcoming trade period.
Barrett believes Beams loves the Lions, but says he wants to return for personal reasons, and wants to re-join Collingwood.
Beams left the Pies at the end of 2014 to join Brisbane, and Barrett understands Beams only has eyes on a return to Collingwood, and no other side.

Barrett: There's no issue with the Lions. He couldn't be more grateful of what the club has done for him. He just, in an ideal world, would like to return to Collingwood if the planets align. But as we know, there's a contract there for 2019 & 2020 at the Lions.#NABTradeRadio
