Essendon midfielder Dylan Shiel could face a stint on the sidelines after a bump on North Melbourne’s Curtis Taylor.

Taylor left the field in the third term after the knock, returned to the field, and then sat out the final quarter, which could see Shiel come under scrutiny by the Match Review Officer.

It was the second incident yesterday that involved a bump that will be analysed by the MRO after Ben Long’s knock on Fremantle’s Sean Darcy.

Long is facing a four-week suspension for his hit on Darcy.
