The Match Review Officer has released their findings for Round 11 with two chargers laid and fines handed out.

Carlton utility Jack Newnes was charged with rough conduct (dangerous tackle) against Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott during the first quarter of the Round 11 clash between Carlton and Collingwood at the MCG.

Newnes can accept a $2000 sanction, brought down from $3000 with an early plea, as the incident was assessed as careless conduct, low impact, and high contact.

Essendon midfielder Dylan Shiel has been charged with striking Port Adelaide livewire Zak Butters in the third quarter of the Bombers Round 11 clash against Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Like Newnes, Shiel can accept a $2000 sanction, brought down from $3000 with an early plea, as the incident was regarded as intentional conduct, low impact, and body contact.
