Former Western Bulldogs skipper Bob Murphy is set to feature in his own program on Fox Sports, called Bob.

Murphy and his dog, Arthur, will headline a 10-part documentary series, that will start halfway through the 2018 AFL season.

He will meet a host of celebrities in their own environment, where they will chat all things footy and a variety of other topics.

He affirmed that the show would uncover the true sports fan behind the celebrity.

“All of the jigsaw pieces are set up for an intriguing show. A cool car, a suave guest, a questionable host and a peculiar dog. It could go anywhere!” Murphy said.

“We’re all bound together by a passion for the game and its inherent tribalism, but I want to leave a bit of space for spontaneity. Explore the space between the spokes.”

Murphy will continue to be a regular on Fox Footy’s flagship show, AFL 360, alongside fellow 2018 retiree Nick Riewoldt. They will join co-hosts Mark Robinson and Gerrard Whateley every Wednesday night.

Fox Footy has also remodeled its Monday night award-winning program On The Couch, adding AFL champions Garry Lyon and Paul Roos to its cast.
