Back Pocket: Tom Doedee (Adelaide)

The Crows defender continues to blossom in his role as the replacement for Jake Lever this year. One of this year’s Rising Star favourites, Doedee was resolute in defence for the Crows against Richmond on Friday night with 27 disposals, eight marks and five tackles.

Full Back: Scott Thompson (North Melbourne)

Thompson played one of his best individual games for the Roos in their 37-point win over Gold Coast on Sunday. The key defender finished with 31 disposals and nine marks and was resolute all day in defence.

Back Pocket: Darcy Gardiner (Brisbane)

Gardiner was fantastic down back with the Lions with 27 disposals and 15 marks to play a big part in the Lions' 65-point win over the Blues.

Half Back: Jason Johannisen (Western Bulldogs)

Despite having a quieter second half against the Hawks, Johannisen finished with a team-high 32 disposals for the Dogs in their 63-point loss, and had 25 disposals in a fantastic first half and is back to his best since moving to half-back a couple of weeks ago.

Centre Half Back: James Sicily (Hawthorn)

Sicily is a real chance to gain a spot in the All-Australian team this year and he showed why with 28 disposals and 12 marks in the Hawks' big win over the Dogs on Saturday night.

Half Back: Steve Motlop (Port Adelaide)

Celebrating his 150th AFL game, the former Cat played one of his best games for his new club finishing with 28 disposals, seven marks and six tackles to help the Power to 36-point win over the Saints on Saturday.
