Adelaide key forward Taylor Walker has been suspended for one match after his controversial push in the back on Geelong's Connor O'Sullivan during Thursday night's one-point win over the Cats.

The incident occurred during the third quarter when Walker pushed the 21-year-old into a marking contest deep in Adelaide's forward line. The push sent O'Sullivan, Crows captain Jordan Dawson and Cats' Mark O'Connor flying as O'Sullivan and Dawson landed poorly.

Fortunately no players were hurt in the incident.

Walker was found guilty of rough conduct and the action was graded as carless, medium impact and high contact by the MRO.

Walker returned to the Adelaide line-up for the match against Geelong and was pivotal in his side's tight win, booting two goals from 13 disposals in the wet.

Geelong defender Tom Stewart has avoided suspension for his bump on Brisbane's Callum Ah Chee, the MRO deemed Stewart's actions were "not unreasonable in the circumstances and did not constitute a reportable offence".

Geelong forward Jack Martin has been fined $3000 for rough conduct on Adelaide's Josh Worrell during the first quarter of the match. The fine can be downgraded to $2000 with an early plea.
