Negotiations are ongoing for a broadcast deal for the 2019 NAB AFL Women’s season.

How the season will be structured, including the starting date, the length and finals arrangements – have all been sewed up in the broadcast deal and won’t be finalised until that is complete.

Channel 7 and Fox Footy shared the broadcast between them through the first two seasons of the league, with Seven airing Saturday night matches, the first game of the season and the Grand Final, while Fox Footy aired all matches except the premiership flag decider.

Network Seven nor Fox Footy paid right fees for broadcasting the first two seasons, with the AFL adamant on maximising exposure for the emerging competition.
