The AFLW Supplementary Draft has been completed, with 26 players drafted ahead of Season Eight of the AFLW competition.

Geelong selected Erin Hoare, a former Cat and Demon, with the first pick, completing her return to the competition after travelling overseas to continue her university education.

At 194cm, Hoare becomes the tallest player in the competition, with the former professional netballer offering the Cats some much needed ruck support.

The Power continued the former player theme, selecting former Docker Jasmin Stewart with pick two, while South Fremantle's Tahleah Mulder rounded out the top three when picked by Fremantle.

26 selections were made across the draft night, with the Bulldogs electing to pass at both pick 15 and 25, while Gold Coast passed at pick 24.
