Adelaide has re-signed co-captain Chelsea Randall and key forward, Sarah Perkins, for the 2018 AFLW season.

Randall ranked second in the league for intercept marks last season and averaged 14 disposals and kicked three goals, while Perkins kicked 11 goals in her eight games for the premiers.

Both players were named in the All-Australian team in the inaugural season of the competition.

“I’ve loved this club since I walked in the door," Randall told the club's website.

"Adelaide is like home to me now. It was such an honour to, alongside Erin Phillips, lead the club and an amazing group of women to the first-ever AFLW premiership.

“We have a really strong culture. We’re already looking forward to 2018 and building on the success of this year.”

After being overlooked int the AFLW National Draft, Perkins was picked up by the Crows as a free agent and says she has been delighted with the outcome.

“Things have worked out better than I could have imagined at Adelaide and I’m thrilled to re-sign with the Club,” Perkins said.

“I’m really happy that I moved, I’ve found my passion for football again and I can’t wait for the second season of the AFLW.”
