On the eve of the AFLW season, all eight captains were surveyed on the upcoming season at today's competition launch.
The AFL's Patrick Keane released the results of the survey with the results varying from surprising to expected.
Interestingly, not one captain believes Adelaide can go back-to-back, as the second season will produce two new grand finalists, with no skipper suggesting Brisbane will be able to go one better.
The majority of captains also predicted Darcy Vescio would win her second consecutive goalkicking award, after booting a league-high 14 majors in the first season.
