The reason why Melbourne premiership player Angus Brayshaw's failed concussion claim has been revealed.
And some early fixture tips for Rounds 16 to 22.
All that and more from media buzz...
Oh no... Oxford
Retired Melbourne midfielder Angus Brayshaw was unable to claim money from insurer Zurich due to his medical retirement following a nasty head knock in 2023.
Brayshaw was denied when hoping to receive funds, given how greatly his life had been impacted.
On the Agenda Setters, it was revealed that the former Demon's ability to study at Oxford University has resulted in him being ineligible to be paid out by the insurer, while an independent umpire, who determined the outcome of the claim, noted a category that he didn't satisfy.
"When Zurich found this out and also the independent umpire, it made the criteria very hard to tick off."

Docker address Carlton chat
Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir has quickly moved to remove his name from any discussion around Carlton's top job.
Longmuir was floated by media personality and former player Kane Cornes as a potential Blues target.
"No, I wouldn't,” he said on Channel 7's The Agenda Setters when asked if he'd consider a phone call.
"I'm very comfortable coaching Freo, I'm very comfortable with the contract I've got at the moment.
"I understand the noise around it and what it looks like externally without diving into the facts.
"But just like all contracts aren't the same, all employment agreements aren't the same. I'm very confident and comfortable with the level of security it gives me and my family.
"I'm very comfortable with where it sits with the club. We all are, so it's a non-story from my point of view.”
Neale's homecoming?
Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir is open to discussing Lachie Neale's future with the Brisbane star.
Neale is yet to determine where he'll play next year, with his split for his former partner resulting in his family returning to Western Australia.
The Lion previously played for the Dockers, and is considering his future in his home state.
“You're always having conversations about players from different clubs,” Longmuir said on Channel 7's The Agenda Setters.
“Especially ones in Lachie's supposed situation.
“It's not really for me to comment on now but if that evolves towards the end of the year we'd be happy to have a conversation with him.”
Former Blues list manager considering legal options
Departed Carlton list manager Nick Austin is understood to be considering legal options after he was moved on from the club.
Shortly after senior coach Michael Voss announced his resignation, Austin was also shown the door by the Blues.
"This was a brutal blindside."
"My understanding is he's considering his legal options."

Melbourne will take on Geelong in Round 20 on Friday night, while Sydney and Geelong will benefit from their impressive start to feature in a handful of Thursday or Friday night clashes.
However, it is understood that the Showdown between Adelaide and Port Adelaide will not get a standalone fixture.
In Round 8, the Showdown clashed with the Western Bulldogs-Fremantle game.
Carlton, Richmond and Essendon are expected to be ignored from primetime slots in the next wave of fixtures.
