A Collingwood midfielder received interest from a rival club, and he responded to the report.

Tasmania has a Docker in its sights.

And will a Lion be turned by interest from rival clubs?

All that and more from media buzz...

Daicos shuts down Suns

Collingwood's Nick Daicos reiterated his contracted status once Gold Coast reached out to his manager, Robbie D'Orazio, to identify if there's an interest in moving north.

Daicos is contracted until the end of 2029.

"It does sound cliché, but I just try and put good performances together for the team," Daicos told AFL Media.

"I am contracted for another three years. Most players don't really have to worry about that. I'm just trying to play good footy at the moment. None of my interests lies with the off-field stuff because I'm super happy at the club.

"They haven't been in touch personally. Whether management or the club has, I'm not too sure. But not personally.

"It's something I try and block out and not focus on a heap. I understand that there's media and there's a new team coming into the competition. I understand that I do have family on the Gold Coast, but it's not something I focus on."

Devils eyeing Docker

Tasmania is making a list of all its targets as they prepare to enter the competition, and there could be none better than Fremantle captain Alex Pearce.

Pearce hails from the Apple Isle, and was drafted by the Dockers from Devonport.

At the age of 31, the key defender is contracted until the end of 2027, and according to The Agenda Setters, is open to a Devils switch.

Vic clubs hunting Lion

Brisbane forward Kai Lohmann is quickly becoming a target for rival clubs, especially in Victoria.

Lohmann's contract expires at the end of 2027, and sides are already getting in line as they look to lure him out of the Lions.

The crafty forward has links to Melbourne, while Geelong, Essendon and the Western Bulldogs have been floated as potential destinations by The Agenda Setters.

Marvel at Marvel

The Docklands stadium will remain known as Marvel Stadium after a new deal was struck with the Walt Disney Company.

The initial eight-year contract expires at the end of the year, but it won't be changing names, according to SEN.

The venue opened in 200 and was named Colonial Stadium, before the Telstra Dome and Etihad Stadium took over.
