Geelong superstar Patrick Dangerfield has been handed a three game suspension by the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday.

Dangerfield came under scrutiny for his bump on Adelaide defender Jake Kelly on Saturday, leaving the Crow with a broken nose.

Dangerfield pleaded guilty to rough conduct, but disputed the charge of severe impact, claiming it to be high.

The level of impact was deemed as severe by the jury, with the AFL making a case for a three week suspension given the findings.

The Geelong onballer will now miss matches against the Lions, Hawks and Demons when serving his suspension.
