Collingwood is interested in Demons veteran Neville Jetta, reports Fox Sports' Tom Morris.

Coming off an injury-cruelled 2019 campaign, the defender fell out of favour of Simon Goodwin's best 22 this year, playing just six games.

Jetta, who turns 31 next February, is contracted for 2021 and is reportedly keen to return to senior football.

It is understood that the 154-gamer loves his Demons teammates but has spoken to Nathan Buckley directly about a potential multi-year deal.

He has told close friends he is weighing up his future, with a two or three-year deal having the potential to lure him away from the Demons from a career certainty standpoint.

Jetta is reportedly not the highest priority target for the Pies but remains a player of "significant interest."

Collingwood are managing a tight salary cap as they look to re-sign a host of off-contract stars, including Jordan De Goey, Brody Mihocek and Josh Daicos.
