Essendon and North Melbourne are the latest clubs linked to off-contract Blues sensation Harry McKay.

As reported by 7 News' Tom Browne, the Bombers and Kangaroos are just some of the several circling clubs that could table the Coleman Medal leader a deal worth in the vicinity of $1 million-per-season.

The Bombers are understood to be loaded with financial space ahead of the off-season, but will look to locked away the services of star duo Darcy Parish and Zach Merrett as well as key names outside the four walls at Tullamarine.

“The Bombers are one of a number of clubs that have reached out. They’re very much keeping a close eye on things when it comes to Harry McKay," Sam Edmund said on SEN Breakfast earlier this month.

The Kangaroos are in a similar position and are understood to be nearing an agreed extension with McKay's brother, Ben.

The idea of linking up with his twin is sure to be a desirable concept for the 23-year-old, who is set to undergo talks with Carlton in the coming weeks.

McKay is understood to be on the radar of a number of Victorian clubs, with both Collingwood and Hawthorn also set to express some levels of interest.

The Blues will be looking to have an agreed deal finalised as soon as possible, with captain Patrick Cripps also unsigned past 2021.

Browne reports that the Blues will be able to hand both Cripps and McKay substantial deals as well as having money in the bank top offer rising star Sam Walsh a seven-figure sum.
