Gold Coast list manager Craig Cameron has confirmed that inside midfielder Will Brodie will look to seek opportunities elsewhere next season.

Brodie has been linked with a move away from the Suns for a few off-seasons but now looks set to finally make the switch.

The Herald Sun recently reported that Brodie is on the radar of the Dockers. Fremantle hasn't confirmed that they are interested in Brodie but he could be seen as a replacement for the departing Adam Cerra.

Speaking on Trade Radio, Cameron said Brodie and his management had told the club that he would like to move on and find more senior opportunities.

"We've got a couple of players that are talking to us about needing opportunity to play and we'll look to help them find clubs through the trade period," Cameron confirmed.

"Will's going into his 6th year next year and he quite rightly wants to explore his options elsewhere and we're happy to facilitate that if we can find something for him."

Cameron was also asked whether Darcy Macpherson was another who could be seeking a move away from the Suns.

He said while they would be open to helping Macpherson finding a new home, they are yet to be told by him or his management that they would like a move.

"Darcy's a little bit the same but he hasn't been quite as vehement in talking to us around wanting to find another home. But if he did and we found something that worked for us, we would look at that," Cameron added.

Macpherson has played 62 games for the Suns since making his debut in 2016.
