The Suns loom large in the trade space this year as they deal with Hawthorn over Ben King and what he is worth.
If King leaves via free agency, Gold Coast will receive Pick 7 as compensation; however, recent reports suggest the Suns want more for their star goal kicker and could force a trade with the Hawks.
Another watch on the off-season is whether Gold Coast sign Jamarra Ugle-Hagan on another one-year contract or delist the troubled forward.
Star midfielder Matt Rowell is believed to be staying at the club for at least one more season before considering his free agency options.
