It looks set to be one of the most significant trade periods in the history of this football club, as not only does it look to ensure a homecoming for Zak Butters, but also looks to strengthen other areas of the field.
Defender Jordon Butts will strengthen the backline, while Finn Maginness would add critical midfield depth following the retirements of Adam Treloar and Tom Liberatore and the delisting of Harvey Gallagher.
Landing capital for Rory Lobb, if he decides to leave, will also be a priority. Amid the desire to welcome in a host of players, the Bulldogs have a club-tied first-round prospect who fits a list need: small forward Khaled El Souki.
