Untried Gold Coast Suns key forward Caleb Lewis is facing a three-match suspension for rough conduct in the Suns' VFL match against the GWS Giants reserves on Sunday, while three others have been fined from the AFL Expansion Cup encounter.
Richmond's Steely Green has also been penalised for a striking act in the latter Sunday affair.
Gold Coast's Lewis was charged with the multiple-game ban for rough conduct that occurred in the third term of the Giants clash. The incident, involving former Sandringham Dragons product Billy McGee Galimberti, was graded as careless conduct, high impact and high contact.
With an early plea the charge can be reduced to two games, meaning at minimum Lewis will be unavailable for a debut call-up in Rounds 16 and 17 against Melbourne or Essendon, and respectively will not be able to play against Casey or the Bombers' reserves too.
Gold Coast MSD prospect Caleb Lewis has been offered a three-match suspension (2mtch early plea) for a rough conduct charge in the VFL over the weekend.

In the AFL clash between the two sides, Jake Ricardi can accept a $3,000 fine (reduced to $2,000 with early plea) for tripping Daniel Rioli.
The first quarter offence was deemed intentional conduct, low impact and body contact.
Meanwhile both Matthew Rowell and Toby Greene can accept fines for careless contact with an umpire. Both incidents that occurred in the second term warrant a financial penalty however Rowell will have to cough up an additional $875 due to it being his fourth offence of the kind, compared to Greene's being his second.
Rowell's fine is $5,000, but with an early plea can drop to $3,125, while Greene's sanction is $3,125, lessened to $1,875 with an early plea.
Ben King has also avoided a ban for rough conduct after bumping GWS' Lachie Whitfield while making an attacking play on a loose ball in Gold Coast's loss to the Giants.
The bump was facing either a three-week ban or full clearance by the MRO, with the latter being the fortunate outcome for the 202cm key forward.
