GWS defender Nick Haynes has accepted a one-game ban for a dangerous tackle on Hawthorn's Josh Ward during Saturday's win at GIANTS Stadium.
The third-quarter incident has been graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact by the AFL's Match Review Officer, meaning Haynes can accept a one-game suspension.
The decision from Haynes and the Giants to accept the charge means the defender will miss his side's Round 18 game against Adelaide. Haynes is now next available for selection against Gold Coast the week after.
Nick Haynes can accept a one-match suspension for rough conduct following this tackle on Josh Ward.
