Port Adelaide Power utility Darcy Byrne-Jones has been offered a one-match suspension by the Match Review Officer for rough conduct against Sydney Swan, Errol Gulden.

The act, occurring in the third term of Saturday night's big win for the Swans, was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact - a combination that delineates a one-match ban.

The Power are likely to decide whether or not to contest the charge by close of business on Monday.

Gulden played out the contest, and was arguably best afield, after garnering 39 disposals and a major. A dual All-Australian himself, Gulden appears back to his damaging best after easing his way back into an injury-interrupted campaign.

Polarising Swan Tom Papley was handed a $3000 sanction for a tripping offence in the first quarter of the same match. He can reduce the hit to his hip pocket to $2000 with an early guilty plea.

Demon Kysaiah Pickett was handed a $1500 fine for staging in the first quarter of his side's big win over ladder-leaders Fremantle. The sanction can be reduced to $1000 with an early plea.

The same sanction and reduction was offered to Geelong Cat Jack Martin after he made careless contact with an umpire during his side's resounding victory over the lowly Bombers.
