Adelaide recruit James Peatling will serve his second suspension this season after receiving a one-match ban for rough conduct on Brisbane's Lachie Neale.

Peatling was reported on-field for a dumping tackle on the two-time Brownlow medallist that resulted in Neale's head hitting the turf, however Neale was fortunately not concussed by the incident.

The 24-year-old was slapped with a single-game ban in April following another dangerous tackle on Geelong's Oisin Mullin, with that offence being of a similar action, dumping the Irish-born Cat into the ground.

The MRO have dished out the same penalty for Friday's incident, grading the rough conduct as careless, with medium impact and high contact.

Peatling will miss Adelaide's next crunch game against the Hawks in Round 13, but will be free to return post-bye.

No other sanctions were made during Friday's action, while Conor Nash was fined for careless contact with an umpire on Thursday.
