Former Melbourne star Garry Lyon and Essendon legend Tim Watson have redrafted the 2010 draft on SEN Breakfast.

The original draft saw David Swallow go at pick one to the Gold Coast Suns, with Harley Bennell and Sam Day going second and third respectively.

Andrew Gaff and Jared Polec went fourth and fifth, with the top ten rounded out by Reece Conca, Josh Caddy, Dyson Heppell, Dion Prestia and Daniel Gorringe.

Both settled on Luke Parker as the number one pick and had Tom Lynch, Andrew Gaff and Dyson Heppell in their top fives.

There was a mixture from there with Lyon selecting Isaac Smith fourth with Watson leaving him out and instead picking Brodie Smith at pick five.

A notable omission from both lists was West Coast superstar Jeremy McGovern, who was selected in the 2010 rookie draft rather than the national draft.

McGovern was selected number one by both Jimmy Bartel and Cal Twomey when they did the same redraft during the trade period.
