Collingwood led the competition with the total amount of fines paid in 2026, tallying 22 charges totalling $35,750.
The Pies came out on top largely due to the heavily fined trio Billy Frampton ($8250), Beau McCreery ($7000) and Brayden Maynard ($7000), who ranked inside the top five for player fines.
Premiers Brisbane followed the Victorian powerhouse closely, with 18 fines totalling $32,875. Lachie Neale's preliminary final strike on Hawthorn's Jack Ginnivan played a huge role, with the penalty also ranking second among the players.
Fiery Hawks co-captain James Sicily topped the leaderboard with $11000 paid in fines across three charges. As a result, the brown and gold were forced to hand over $30,500 over the course of the season.
Hawthorn co-captain Jai Newcombe also featured inside the top 10 for fines players, raking in $5500 in charges over three separate offences.
Ironically, Sicily's and Neale's fines toppled Geelong's ($8000) and Melbourne's ($9000) club figures.

Careless contact with an umpire was the most sanctioned offence in 2026. There were 74 offences (two dismissed) for which players handed over $83,625.
Engaging in a melee/wrestle was next ($61,875), followed by rough conduct ($55,250) and striking charges ($54,250).

Gold Coast's Sam Clohesy led the competition with the most amount of games served via suspension.
The Suns winger served four matches on the sidelines through two separate charges.
A range of players copped three-week bans throughout the year, including Ty Gallop, Paul Curtis, Darcy Fogarty, Harris Andrews, Jacob van Rooyen, Josh Weddle and Tristan Xerri.
Van Rooyen will miss Melbourne's season-opening clash in 2027 as he will have one more match to sit on the sidelines due to his Round 23 strike on Port Adelaide's Aliir Aliir.
St Kilda's Dan Butler will also miss Round 1 next year for his offence on Gold Coast's Mac Andrew.
Adelaide's Max Michalanney will miss the Crows' opening game in 2027 after his strike on Brisbane's Charlie Cameron warranted a one-week suspension.
West Coast's Harley Reid will be absent for the club's first two games next year after his Round 24 rough conduct charge on Newcombe was upheld.
