Essendon Next Generation Academy draft prospect Adam Sweid will make his VFL debut for the Bombers on Saturday night against the Casey Demons.
The Calder Cannons product has bolted into the vision of AFL recruiters after a stunning return from an ACL injury.
The livewire talent has had multiple best-on-ground performances in his return from injury this season and was a part of Vic Metro's under-18s squad ahead of the 2025 AFL National Championships.

Sweid follows in the footsteps of fellow Bombers NGA prospect Hussien El Achkar, as well as Brisbane Academy-tied prospects Dan Annable and Isaac Waller as draft hopefuls to have played at state league level this season.
AFL-listed midfieldersย Dylan Shielย andย Ben Hobbs also return to the Bombers VFL side for Saturday night's match.
