A pair of Essendon-tied prospects and Hawthorn Next Generation Academy duo headline the players set to play in the Under-17s trial matches at Casey Fields on Saturday.
Vic Metro will take on New South Wales/ACT from 11am before Vic Country faces Queensland at 1.30pm.
The matches help in the determination of the annual Under-17s Futures match played on the MCG on AFL Grand Final Day.
Calder Cannons' Bombers-tied duo Moustafa Darwish and Tevita Rodan will be in action after strong 2026 seasons in the Talent League.
Darwish has been given significant midfield exposure as a bottom-ager and averaged 23 disposals and five tackles this season. He also captained Bachar Houli Academy's game in the Talent League last week.
Rodan, meanwhile, has averaged 20 disposals and three tackles. He is tied to Essendon via its academy and Port Adelaide via the father-son rule.
Essendon father-son prospect Koby Bewick will represent Vic Metro's Under-18s, so will be absent for the clash, as will star bottom-ager Jake Miller who has featured throughout the Under-18s carnival. GWS-tied star Cooper French will also miss after being one of the Allies' best at the carnival.
Hawthorn-tied defender Zane Adams has had a strong season as a marking threat for Oakleigh and Xavier College which has garnered plenty of attention and also promises as one to watch.
Fellow Hawks-tied Charlie Fischer, a Gippsland Power product, will also be in action. Like the aforementioned trio, he trialed for the Victorian Under-18s squad earlier in the season, but had been relatively quiet in the Talent League until being recast as a small defender in recent weeks where he has impressed.
Eastern Ranges duo Baxter Sruk and Jett Flower - the grandson of Melbourne great Robbie Flower - have both represented Vic Metro's Under-18s and shape as top prospects next year.
Calder key forward Nate Jenkins, Sandringham speedster Angus Brown and Oakleigh brute Harper McCullough were all in Vic Metro's train-on squad.
Sydney-tied key forward Coen Hardy shapes as one to watch for NSW/ACT after some potent moments at the Under-18s Championships, while Brisbane-tied Jackson Bridge spearheads Queensland. Taj Murray, the brother of Gold Coast Suns first year player Jai, will also be in action.
Port Adelaide father-son prospect Louis Salopek will be an exciting watch for Vic Country after an ominous return game last week for Dandenong Stingrays.
Riley Travaglia, the brother of St Kilda's Tobie, will also be in action, as will Alex Whitlock, the younger brother of second-year AFL twins Matt and Jack.
Murray Bushrangers' Lincoln Brand, who last year captained Vic Country at the Under-16s National Championships and Gippsland ruck Cohen Dent, who is this year part of Vic Country's Under-18s squad are other big names on display.
