Carlton have lodged nominations for club-tied 2025 AFL Draft prospects Harry Dean and Jack Ison, securing priority access to the teenage duo ahead of next month's intake.
Dean, the son of champion ex-Blue Peter, is eligible as a father-son selection and has also been part of the club's junior pathaways program.
The 193cm defender is coming off a stellar draft season following commitments with the Murray Bushrangers and Vic Country, earning U18s All-Australian honours for his efforts with the latter.
Dean, a strong lockdown and intercept backman, now finds himself in top five consideration for the November 19-20 draft.
Ison has ties to Carlton as a member of the club's Next Generation Academy.

The Oakleigh Chargers and Vic Metro forward-midfield hybrid enjoyed a year despite injury setbacks, with his U18s National Championships opener against South Australia a performance that caught the eye.
Ison, too, could earn rival interest in the first round of this year's draft, potentially seeing Carlton come away with three selections on night one given their strong draft hand.
The Blues currently hold Picks 9, 11, 43, 54, 67 and 72 for the draft, with their points total of 2758 required to match bids for Dean and Ison.

Carlton confirmed earlier this year that 2026 draft prospect Cody Walker has been nominated as a father-son selection for next year.
Following a promising bottom-aged campaign with the Bendigo Pioneers and Vic Country, Walker is firmly in Pick 1 contention for 2026.
Other AFL clubs with father-son links include Richmond (Louis Kellaway), West Coast (Charlie Banfield), Melbourne (Kalani White) and the Western Bulldogs (Will Darcy).
