Overlooked Prospects

Essendon NGA talent Anthony Munkara didn't receive a bid during the National Draft, meaning he'll join the Bombers on a Rookie list spot as a result.

2022 Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal winner Ethan Phillips was also overlooked, however the Port Melbourne defender could follow in the footsteps of Charlie Dean in joining the AFL through the Rookie Draft.

Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Mitch Szybkowski was stunningly overlooked across Monday and Tuesday night despite heading into this year as a potential first-round selection. SA's Adam D'Aloia, WA's Sam Gilbey and Oakleigh's Blake Drury were also not selected.

Brisbane Lions Academy prospect Shadeau Brain didn't receive a selection and could be considered by the Lions, who will add Darryl McDowell-White to their list as a Rookie.

Calders Cannons defence/midfield hybrid Paul Pascu, South Adelaide ruckman Will Verrall, Western Jets key forward Jovan Petric, SA attacked Jaiden Magor and Subiaco small forward Tyrell Dewar will also be in consideration for the Rookie Draft.

Geelong have already confirmed that NGA talent Ted Clohesy and father-son prospect Osca Riccardi will join the club on Wednesday.
