Fans will have to wait at least another year for a twilight grand final, with AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan confirming the match will once again begin at 2.30pm.
McLachlan ended speculation that the grand final could be a twilight game this season on 3AW Radio this morning, after host Neil Mitchell quizzed McLachlan on the start time of the game.
Mitchell said that he wanted โthe traditional gameโ of 2.30pm.
McLachlan replied with, "done," before adding "you (Neil Mitchell) make this town work. If you want that, weโll go with 2.30.โ
