To commemorate the 20th year of the AFL's national academy, the league has named the AFL Academy's '20 in 2020' team.

The 20-man side is made up of young stars from the last four academy intakes.

The squad was selected by current AFL academy coach Brenton Sanderson, talent manager Kevin Sheehan and the academy's former head coaches.

The team comprises of player the selectors believe will be among the best on the country by the year 2020.
