But Don Pyke's side has risen to premiership favouritism not off the back off a big rebuild and a bevy of high picks, but with great recruiting and several draft steals.

Forward line:

Tom Lynch - Arrived at the Crows from St Kilda via a three-way trade trade. As part of the deal, Richmond received Ivan Maric from the Crows and Adelaide sent pick 37 to St Kilda.

Eddie Betts - Joined the club as a restricted free agent.

Andy Otten - Pick 27 in the 2007 National Draft.

Richard Douglas - Pick 16 in the 2005 National Draft.
