Adelaide has started the season on absolute fire.

The Crows are 6-0 and have a percentage of 160.9 and and are averaging a whopping 134 points per game.

But Don Pyke's side has risen to premiership favouritism not off the back off a big rebuild and a bevy of high picks, but with great recruiting and several draft steals.

We went through the 22 that dismantled Richmond on Sunday.

Defenders:

Daniel Talia - Calder Cannons, No.13 pick, 2009 draft
Kyle Hartigan -Three years in VFL at Werribee, 2012 rookie draft
Luke Brown- GWS 2011 pre-selection, traded
Brodie Smith - No. 14 pick, 2010 draft, debuted in round 1
Jake Lever - No. 14 pick, 2014 draft, missed entire previous year to knee injury
Rory Laird - 2011 rookie draft, played 18 games of SANFL in first year, dropped from grand final team

Midfielders:

Wayne Milera- Drafted from SANFL, #11 2015 draft

Curtly Hampton - Zoned to GWS from NT, played 51 games for GWS, traded for second round pick

Rory Atkins - Pick 81, 2012 draft. Expelled from AIS program for lack of work ethic Played SANFL, SANFL reserves in first two years PCL injury in 2015, missed three months. Named in squad prior to Phil Walsh's death, debuted week after.

Forward line:

Tom Lynch - Arrived at the Crows from St Kilda via a three-way trade trade. As part of the deal, Richmond received Ivan Maric from the Crows and Adelaide sent pick 37 to St Kilda.

Eddie Betts - Joined the club as a restricted free agent.

Andy Otten - Pick 27 in the 2007 National Draft.

Richard Douglas - Pick 16 in the 2005 National Draft.

Taylor Walker - Pick 75 in the 2007 National Draft (NSW scholarship player)

Charlie Cameron - Pick 7 in the 2013 Rookie Draft.

Followers:

Sam Jacobs - Joined the club via a trade from Carlton. The Crows gave up picks 34 and 67 to secure the ruckman.

Rory Sloane - Pick 44 in the 2008 National Draft.

Matt Crouch - Pick 23 in the 2013 National Draft.

Interchange:

Jake Kelly - Pick 40 in the National Draft.

Brad Crouch - Pick 2 in the 2011 mini-draft

David Mackay - Pick 48 in the 2006 National Draft.

Josh Jenkins - Trade to Adelaide, along with pick 41, in exchange for pick 31.
