Former Western Bulldog and Essendon Bomber Adam Cooney was recently rumoured as one of the big names to feature in the upcoming season of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
That news has been confirmed with Channel 10 announcing the celebrity participants on Sunday, April 2.
The 2008 Brownlow Medallist does not appear to be thrilled about the experiment however, telling the Herald Sun that it wasn't exactly his decision to join.
"I didn't say yes at first, I said no because why would I want to go and eat fish guts?" Cooney said.
"I was bullied by my wife Haylea and our kids. She said it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and she loves the show."
However, the retired star has assured fans that he will not go down without a fight, asserting his want to not be the first contestant eliminated from the show.
"The food and heights are my main two (fears) but I have been brave before and gone on a ferris wheel," Cooney claimed.
"I'll probably be vomiting because of the food and challenges."
Cooney will be competing alongside known Collingwood tragic Peter Helliar for the grand prize of $100,000 for a chosen charity.
