Overview

De Koning is a player with relatively low risk, with his current forward ability it is clear he is ready for the AFL although he will still need to development. He can kick goals and is very good on his left foot. Clubs look for players who can play in multiple positions and be versatile and like most tall forwards especially of De Koning’s height, he can also play in the ruck.

The decision making of the youngster will be the focus of improvement should an AFL side take him. Predicted to go around pick 25, De Koning could be a handy pickup for a club in that range.
