Mutch is a ball magnet and hasĀ a brilliant engine. He is a member of the GWS academy and is likely to end up at the Giants in this year’s draft.

He wins heaps of the footy and will keep trying all day. He averaged 22 disposals per game for the Allies in the Under-18 Championships and 27 disposals for NSW/ACT and won a lot of his possessions at stoppages.

His outside work is not as good as his inside work, but ability to rack up plenty of the footy is what sees him stand out and is able to bring teammates into the game well.

Mutch is also able to kick well on both feet, however, he does lack pace and is not overly agile, which makes his work rate and footy smarts all the more important.

He could also improve his kicking, with his boot not all that penetrating at this stage.
